Madam Kwan's Empire Gallery Subang

It's Sunday again and being alone at home is a normal for me..yess...weekend is the only time for me to rest and relax...coz the other days of the week...just stare at the same thing..map...map..and map!!! do the same checking and correction on GPS devices complaining by users..and have to listen very well while Mr **** nagging at me with his scary face and fight with another team members...why he always call my name lately...hissssssshhh..damn..seriously stresssssssssssssssssss..and that's the one of de main reason why I rarely update this blog....feel like he watching me all the time...sometime i pray, when he gonna to outstation again..coz that the best moment for me and may be,for the rest..hahahha...

After woke up not early in de morning..hehehe, just turn on lappy and online for a while...not either thinking what to eat for lunch..lazy enough for myself to cook something in the kitchen...and suddenly Che Nah came back from her examination held somewhere in Shah Alam...then, I suggested that why not we go to Empire Gallery Subang to have our lunch there..I thought Madam Lim's Kitchen had their branch at this new latest mall...craving for their Chocolate Shaver! Yess...Empire Gallery is the latest mall in Subang Jaya neighbourhood...recently opened in May 2010...not sure..but i think, yes..read bout this before...

Situated in SS16 near Subang Jaya KTM Station, dis mall consist of a five-storey shopping gallery, office tower and Empire Hotel...all in one...Subang Parade just next door and Carrefour too.. compare to Subang Parade, Empire Gallery is pretty good, high standard and exclusive...but for the resident who grew up with this mall..sure SP still the winner...hehehhee..from the Federal Highway near Subang area, you should see it clearly as it has a distinct wavy pattern on the exterior wall of its multi-story car park..looks amazing from the far...

But once I entered to dis building, it's really though to get parking..*sigh*
yeah...why KL people always went out for shopping errghhhhh...and my tummy start to kruk krak kruk krak...finally, I got the parking..phewww..just feel a little bit dizzy with dis basement car park!!!!!!!!!

I was quite impressed while entering level by level..have to admit, as for the shops and restaurants, it somehow feels more high class...that's the feeling i got...and never expect it will have a new solution for those who felt tired while walking around the mall for shopping..yeah..I always feel that..hahha..but as for shopping, just think it will be a good exercise for you...how Empire Gallery offer you due to dis matter???? you wont have to take to escalator from the top of mall all de way down to the lowest floor...not either the lift..but..the Slide! ...just slide urself and feel a new experience..in may be 10 0r 15 seconds, u will reach ur destination...hehhe..but for me..it's still weird and i don want to give a try..better use the escalator....

Proceed to our mission, to find Madam Lim's Kitchen...go up and down..but still not see Madam Lim's Kitchen signboard..where is it?some shop lot are still under renovation..i found Ole-Ole Bali also have their branch here..and as u know it, they come out with a very nice decoration, both interior and exterior.....at Lower ground floor, u will find so many choices of food and beverages...just set ur mind..which one u want to go..they have such as Nyonya Colors, Lammeeya, Tarbush, Pasta Zanmai, Serai @ Empire, Suchan Deli, Whisk, Sao Nam, Grand Imperial Kitchen,Mautama Ramen an so on...Chilis, Italianese and Starbucks located at Ground Floor..Im stil searching for Madam Lim's..and without wasting time, decided to ask the lady at info center.... unfortunately, there is no Madam Lim's here only Madam Kwan's...what are u waiting for ladiessss????...we ended up at Madam Kwan's

Ok babe..time for pics...some of them, i'd captured by myself and de rest from Mr. Google...why i alwaiz forget to put my camera in my handbag...may be im not longer wit my cam-whore habit lately...

Cosy Environment and comfortable to step in...
Whar stood out with these restaurants were their interior design as they were all done up in ultra modern contemporary and clean lines design..

Signature logo for Madam Kwan's Restaurant

Madam Kwan's Restaurant is a truly Malaysian Cuisine based restaurant chain throughout Klang Valley serving impeccable Malaysian cuisine....u can find the best food under one roof...from Malays to Chinese...from Malays Nasi Lemak to Hainanese Chicken Rice to India hot-spicy curry and to Assam Laksa Nyonya...and a local dessert from Cendol to Sago Gula Melaka....even western food also served here...being at this restaurant, everything look great to order..but when see the price..I know some of you will argue why it's quite pricey...i have no answer for that but I agree, it's not a cheap place for food..good to eat once in a blue moon mean sekali skala ok la! I change my mind even my taste-bud want to try a special pan mee from Madam Kwan's specialty which will cost me around RM31.90...hahaha...it make me think twice...but from the display picture, tempting me too much....then, i also want to have Noodles With Fish Head...owhh...it's popular among Chinese..I know lah...cause my job sometime have to update the restaurant info..so i always searching and find the best place and a fine food to eat...my intuition said give a try...but my tummy said....please select a rice meal...hahahhaha

As for starter...i ordered Ais Batu Campur..come just with a common syrup and the stuff of ice kacang like red beans, sweet corn and lengkong(grass jelly)..i prefer with a dark-syrup like at my hometown...or may be like a long time ago..coz nowadays..it's really hard to find ABC with dark-syrup...sometime they come out with very colorful of syrup..blue, green, red even yellow...for u may be it was so attractive but for me....why have so many colors!!!! owh...i just miss my childhood favorites...RM6.90

And Che Nah just pick Ice-Lemon Tea..also RM6.90..come with separate air gula!
wow....they are concern and care about their customer's health..dont put too much...it will give a chance for diabetic to take over ur body soon...

Che Nah had her Special Fried Rice which come so fast and make me shocked! heheheh..yeah really fast...once u place ur order, I saw all the workers and the kitchen crews will do their fatal task....I keep my eyes on them...the kitchen run well and at the same time, the waitress will refill ur ice water as fast as just 5 seconds u put back ur glass....super duper speedy! now let's guess how much this fried rice..i said to Che Nah.."Hat nie Che Nah bleh goreng sendirik kat rumah" and Che Nah reply me.."Kami tak tau nak order apa"...okeh..RM14.90++...owhh my goshhhhhh...

And I know..Madam Kwan's was established and become famous of their Nasi Lemak...I know many tons of people will say the same thing and heard bout this before...Last time when I at Midvalley, i always see people queuing up outside waiting for their turn to dine in Madam Kwan's..is it for the famous Nasi Lemak??? When so many people said the Nasi Lemak served at Madam Kwan's is good, then it must be very good...but i choose to have Chicken Rice With Mushroom...the fragrant chicken rice and the tenderness off chicken meat..give a good sensation in my mouth...may be not usual as i can get outside...becoz it was really good, i finished all thing with my chicken rice except ginger sambal....and i love the mushroom too...RM15.90++

Last but not least, a pose from me with the rose.....please sing a song from Rahimah Rahim entitled "Gadis dan Bunga" for me..(^__^)

Dining experience here for me is acceptable...the important thing is they have a good service with a spacious shop unit which make u feel comfort and no doubt to step in...and cleanliness is become their priority...u will enjoy your time being here...not to eat everyday, so i think it's still affordable unless u are the one of Madam Kwan's die hard fan....jatuh bangkrap lah aku kalo makan tiap2 hari..masa dan ketika di sini.....hehehe

The food served in Madam Kwan's are delicious and will satisfied u..so may be it's more pricey than usual..overall our bill is reach RM60 ++...still ok and acceptable...but somehow i laugh at myself..i never thought that i will pay RM60 for this normal food and drink...may be at hawker stall...it will cost around 10 bucks only....but that's me....always spend half of my money to try out a great food and always have a list of restaurant in her mind to do a warm-visit!!!

Oh not to forget...the silly car park machine!!!!!!!!!!! Bad experience at Empire Gallery Subang..make so many people get angry including me....and waste time...
